It is a matter of great pleasure for me that the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University has started the School of Dentistry. SZABMU is a new university but it has decades of experience in the shape of its able and renowned faculty members. University has the best of pool of resources and skills to ensure that in recruiting the best of our country's talent to the health sector in Pakistan.
The School of Dentistry aims to provide skill based education thus nurturing committed and competent well trained young minds, who are ready to take on the world with their levels of expertise and experience. The liberty of expression of one's free will and intelligence makes College a perpetual source of learning. Our goal is to generate students and train people to work in dental fields where they will be welcomed with open arms both for their specialized knowledge, and for their ability to explore, converse and get to the niche of problems through critical and innovative thinking.
The School of Dentistry emphasis on adopting latest trends in education worldwide and is also evident in its competent information technology support to students and its membership of digital libraries' global networks. Both these factors are vital for growth and development in today's knowledgeable society. In the recent past new departments have been established which have enhanced the teaching methodology and whereby continuous professional development is taking place benefitting the faculty and students to a great extent.
