Vision

The vision of the department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics is by providing dental education that enhance scientific knowledge, skills, judgment, and lifelong learning in a world-class environment. Interdisciplinary, dynamic research to improve oral care and overall health in the community by providing the undergraduate and the graduate students with the knowledge, techniques, skills and treatment services.

Mission

The mission of the Pharmacology & Therapeutics department at SZABMU is to achieve academic excellence and professionalism in the dentistry through comprehensive education, compassion, clinical training, research projects.

Our mission encompasses the following objectives:

1. Provide outstanding teaching & educational programs for dental undergraduate and graduate students, and for training of health care professionals
2. Develop outstanding clinicians & dentists and investigators who are lifelong learners, who will provide the highest quality compassionate dental care, and who will serve the needs of their community and the world in the best traditions of our profession.
3. Conduct innovative and collaborative research and integrate this knowledge in the management dental care
4. Advance the early detection, treatment, and prevention of dental problems.
5. Ensure the highest ethical and professional standards in all of our endeavors
