Prof Dr. Bilal Ahmed Chairman & Head Department of Prosthodontics SOD has been working as Principal, School of Dentistry (SOD), Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) Islamabad since January 2021.
He is also serving as Dean of Dentistry & Allied Disciplines, SZABMU.
Prof Bilal, an eminent Academician & Clinician in Prosthodontics & Oral Implantology is a Gold Medalist graduate from de'Montmorency College of Dentistry in year 2002 and holds Fellowship in Prosthodontics (FCPS) from College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan since year 2008. In addition, He holds Fellowships of Royal College of physicians Surgeons Glasgow (FRCPSG) & Royal College of Surgeons Edinburg (FRCS Ed). He has also worked as HEC Research Scholar at Strasbourg University France.
He has nearly 50 publications to his credit and has also served in many prestigious National institutions like National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) Islamabad, Army Medical College (AMC), AFID and de'Montmorency College of Dentistry Lahore.
